The permanent exhibition of the “Olympic Marathon” presents for the first time in public the history of the Olympic Marathons from 1896 to 2000.
Over than 4000 exhibits that record the history of Marathon race from 1896 until today. A unique historical sporting collection which could not be found elsewhere than in the birthplace of Marathon road race.
Schinias Beach
Schinias is probably the best organised sandy beach near Athens, hence the most popular amongst the Athenians.
Full of beach bars, sea sports and beach tavernas, at Schinias the visitor may enjoy swimming, sea sports and taste Greek food and drinks by the sand.
The canoe & Kayak facilities in Schinias hosted the homonymous event during the Athens Summer Olympic Games of 2004.

Acropolis Museum
The new Acropolis Museum with a total area of 25,000 square meters and an exhibition space of over 14,000 square meters, has been designed by Bernard Tschumi to host all of the Arcopolis treasures, sculptures and artifacts.
